Braeside is a delightful, family run, nine bedroom guest house hotel which was given a four diamond rating by both VisitBritain and the AA, so although fairly small you can expect quality and service. Currently we are members of the Bed and Breakfast Association. We have lovely views out over Weston Bay from the front, which faces West, and on a clear day you can see as far as the Welsh coast and the Quantock Hills. At the rear we overlook the Parish Church , and have views towards the Mendip Hills . Set in a quiet cul-de-sac, with unrestricted on-street parking, we are only a two minute walk from the sea front ... with sandy beach ... and only a short way from the Grand Pier , Playhouse Theatre , High Street and Shopping Centre. We are close to everything, yet sufficiently far back from the hustle and bustle to enjoy a peaceful and relaxed holiday.
All our bedrooms are tastefully decorated, with soft carpets and easy chairs, and all have colour television, creating just the right atmosphere in which to relax after a busy day. Also, each room has bath with shower (or just luxury shower) and toilet en-suite, coffee/teamaking facilities (with tea, coffee, horlicks and drinking chocolate available), radio alarm, electric fan and Free Wi-Fi available

Our sunny patio garden is a riot of colour during the summer ... where you can sit and bask in the sun. Or, if you prefer, take a stroll around nearby Grove Park ... a garden lover's paradise. In Grove Park you will find the Jill Dando Memorial Garden (put in by the Groundforce team), and just below the garden there is a cafe/tearoom overlooking the bandstand, where bands still play on Sundays during the summer.
For the more adventurous there are walks through Weston Woods ... which are situated just behind us, above the park ... and on to Kewstoke, Sand Bay and the Priory. Sand Point is a National Trust property, and this can also be reached by car along the "toll road" ... a short drive by the water's edge through Weston Woods. And since last year they have opened up a children’s Water Park (just below us), have revamped the ‘Prom’ (it’s a real pleasure now to stroll along the sea front), have completely rebuilt the Grand Pier (loads of exciting things to do on there now!), and have pedestrianised the square in front of the Pier.
We also provide Ordnance Survey maps for exploring the surrounding countryside. There are plenty of fabulous places to visit such as Cheddar Gorge ; Wookey Hole ; Bristol Zoo etc, see our attractions page for more details
To finish your day, try one of Weston's excellent Restaurants , which are all within easy walking distance.
